Investigative secrecy would be preserved in the meeting of the Council of Mandates both with closed doors and with open doors. This is what lawyer Ledio Braho said in the Debate studio on A2, regarding today's meeting of the Council of Mandates and Immunities that started the examination of SPAK's request for the arrest of Arben Ahmetaj, while the opposition demanded that it be held with open doors.

Për Brahon duhet të kërkohet masë sigurie për Arben Ahmetaj, pasi sipas tij hetimi në gjendje të lirë cenon provat, i shmanget drejtësisë dhe shfrytëzon kohën për të negociuar.

“Sa i takon SPAK hetimet vijojnë, Ahmetaj është nën hetim duke qenë në gjendje të lirë mund të ndikojë në një pjesë të personave që kanë dijeni për ato veprime që hetohet gjenda e tij e lirë mund të cenojë provat dhe mundësi për t’u larguar. Në praktikën e SPAK kërkon masë sigurie për qytetarët e tjerë nëse nuk do të ndiqej i njëjti standard do të ishte e çuditshme. Ka shumë persona të tjerë që janë në hetim dhe mund të kenë dijeni për këto vepra penale dhe në këto kushte të kërkohet masë për të që të vijojnë hetimet. Ajo që është interesante është që nuk jep dorëheqjen nga mandati i deputetit.  Nëse ai ka vendosur të mos vijë në Shqipëri ose ai kërkon ti shmanget drejtësisë, po e përdor kohën për të negociuar mbi mundësitë që ka. Ai nuk akuzohet për shpërdorim detyre, por ka përdorur ndikimin e tij për të ndryshuar VKM, apo dhe ligjin për koncesionin”.
