The post office director was dismissed from her post, while the head of the finance sector, Valbona Huti Duni, resigned.
Through an official announcement, the Albanian Post announced that after several verifications, irregularities and violations were identified in the administration of funds related to the payment service.
After discovering these irregularities, the Albanian Post took immediate measures against the responsible employees and referred the case to the Prosecutor's Office.
We recall that Elisabeta Mataj was appointed head of the Post Office in Durrës in October last year after replacing Etleva Budini, who was elected as a member of parliament for the Socialist Party.
