The former mayor of Shkodra, Bardh Spahia, was today charged with "abuse of office" by SPAK.

It concerns a report filed against him by Mark Molla, the former director of Shkodra Waterworks, appointed by Voltana Ademi within the limits of leaving her position, and immediately dismissed by Spahia.

Molla claims in his complaint that he was unfairly dismissed from his position.

Mark Molla is a controversial figure, sentenced to 8 years in prison for theft, abuse of office, and forgery of official documents. He was also the target of a gunshot wound at the door of his apartment in Shkodra in 2020.
