According to the Greek media, the three defendants have denied the charges during their testimony, and the 34-year-old woman has stated that she not only did not recruit minor girls for prostitution, but also that she advised girls who were part of such a life to give up.

The Greek court has put the 34-year-old Albanian Lorela Kapaj behind bars, as well as one of the Greeks arrested for exploitation of prostitution, while a third person, a 55-year-old man, has been released.

According to the Greek media, he has been given a restrictive condition to appear twice a month at the Police Directorate and a cash guarantee of 5,000 euros.

All three defendants have denied the charges during their statements. The 31-year-old claimed that she did not push the girls into prostitution and that she had advised the 17-year-old exactly the opposite when she realized that something was happening. She is also known to have claimed that she does not know any of her accused.

Finally, the two male defendants before the investigation allegedly did not know that the girls were minors as they appeared to them to be in their 20s.

How Lorela lured minors into prostitution

According to the investigations, the 31-year-old arrested for participating in the network of minor pimps approached the girls and promised them large rewards if they would have sex with rich men who would pay a lot to rape them.

Her main victim was a 15-year-old girl, whom she allegedly befriended in 2022. Lorela's main goal was to lure her into prostitution with the lure of money, promising to find her good.

The second person from the group to be detained is a 34-year-old man who was Lorela's friend. The 34-year-old Greek, from the middle of April 2023, came into contact with the aforementioned minor and a 17-year-old friend of hers at the time, proposing to facilitate the finding of rich clients "for paid sexual encounters" .

He photographed them in their underwear, posting the photos on an online website, through which at least 10 romantic dates were booked, which took place in hotels in central Athens.
