"I forgive all those who made my journey...", Archbishop
Archbishop Anastasios

The will left by Archbishop Anastasios Janullatos before he passed away has been opened 40 days after his death.

Anastas's will states that all of his financial deposits belong to the Orthodox Church of Albania.

Also, in his will, Janullatos thanked the Albanian Church for their love and dedication.

He also says that he has forgiven all those people who worked against him.

"I thank the Church of Albania for their heartfelt love and dedication."

My financial deposits as archbishop belong to the Church of Albania.

I ask the executors of my will that half of the amount of these deposits be used for the completion of the Resurrection of Christ Cathedral in Tirana.

While the other half should be preserved and used appropriately, ensuring that the income from these investments is used to support the salaries of clergy and for the development of youth programs of the Church of Albania.

The copyrights from the sale of my books will be deposited with the Inter-Orthodox Center.

I appoint the archbishop who will succeed me as executor of this will. The few things I have used are to be distributed to my chosen collaborators. My books are to be handed over to the Orthodox Library 'Resurrection of Christ'.

"I forgive all those who made my journey more difficult and arduous," the will states, among other things.
