The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, held an informal meeting with journalists this Monday, where he provided comments on the investigations of several important SPAK cases, including the file known as the "Toyota Yaris" and the investigations conducted in relation to Olsi Rama, the brother of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Dumani confirmed that the case known as the "Toyota Yaris" is still being investigated. He recalled a decision to ban publications related to the file in question.

Dumani warned people who would publish confidential information, including former Prime Minister Berisha, that they would be prosecuted if they did so.

"There will be criminal liability for people who leak data, given that there is a decision to ban publication. Everyone is equal before the law," said Dumani.

Dumani gave a brief description of the investigations that were conducted regarding Olsi Rama. According to him, the investigations regarding the Prime Minister's brother have been suspended as no evidence has been found to prove his involvement in any illegal activity.

"SPAK has conducted investigations and has imposed a suspension for failure to identify the perpetrators. Olsi Rama's involvement was also investigated, no evidence was found. The investigations were suspended because his name was not registered as a person under investigation. If he were under investigation, the case would have been dismissed," said Dumani.

Dumani was also asked about investigations related to military properties, but he said that due to the sensitive nature of the issue, he could not provide details.

"Investigations are ongoing, and details cannot be shared due to the confidentiality of the process. I will not comment on the opinions of the prime minister or other politicians," he added.

Regarding the Matrix application and the possibility of its use by Albanian citizens, Dumani said that he has no further comment on this issue.

"SPAK is one of the most trusted institutions, and we are committed to managing information responsibly and in accordance with the law," concluded the head of SPAK.
