Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha will appear this morning at the Special Prosecution Office, in compliance with the "Compulsory Appearance" security measure imposed by the court.
The Democratic Party has announced a protest in support of the leader of the Democrat Party, the second in a row after January 6, when Berisha appeared for the first time at SPAK without the measure being imposed.
The protest is expected to start at 09:30, while Berisha and his supporters continue to oppose the measures taken against him, including SPAK's request for the return of his arrest.
Berisha is under investigation by SPAK in connection with the issue of the former "Partizani" complex.
The Court of Appeal confirmed the replacement of the security measure from "house arrest" to "obligation to report to the judicial police", however, it warned that if Berisha does not respect this measure, the prosecution may request a more severe security measure.
