Jennifer Alcani , just 13 years old, passed away on Thursday after 7 days in a coma. The minor was seriously injured in a car accident.

Friends and family said their goodbyes, escorting the 13-year-old to her final home.

According to Italian media, it was Don Bortolo, who led the mass for her, who conveyed a message to all her peers.

"Life is not a video on social media. Life is unique, you have to appreciate it. You have to make it wonderful. Happiness does not lie in appearance, in the consensus of society, in followers or likes. We must learn to distinguish the real from the virtual. Happiness lies in building true and sincere loves," he said, referring to the video that the young woman had posted on social media.

Parents' message:

" I need a hug. I just need your hug. It's hard for me to accept this, but I find strength in the endless love you gave me. You were so much to me, you were so much to us, you were so much to everyone. You were a force of nature."

In these days when everything is breaking in half, you are the only one who gives me strength, who makes me resist. I know you are here. I know you have not left me, that you protect me. Your heart stopped beating, but mine will never stop looking for you. You will live forever inside me and your dad.

"If I could see you for five more minutes, I would say thank you. Thank you for living inside me. Our little star, death may physically separate us, but never our hearts ," was the message from the deceased's parents.

After leaving the Basilica of San Nicolò, Jenny was sent to her final home with applause and dozens of white and pink balloons.

The song "Capo Plaza" was also played in the background, which was also the background of the latest video released by the Albanian minor.

The serious incident occurred on Friday at dawn, when Jennifer had left home without permission to meet her two friends.

She met Massimo, 22, from Lecco, who was driving despite being drunk, and Michele, 19, from Malgrate.

He didn't know the two of them very well because he had only met them on social media and they had been together at the disco several times.

The driver of the vehicle was driving at 150 km/h and because he was drunk, he lost control and crashed into a concrete wall.

Massimo and Michele survived. Jenny did not. Now the 22-year-old is under investigation for murder.
