The customs checkpoints in Kakavija and Kapshtica on the Greek border with Albania will operate with longer hours starting from October 14, the Greek Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) has announced.

The extension aims to improve cross-border movement, facilitate trade, and ensure smoother trade flows between the two countries.

As part of the adjustment, the new hours will be implemented specifically for the processing of empty trucks. During the summer period (April 1 to October 31), the points will remain open from 22:00 to midnight, while in the winter period (November 1 to March 31) the additional hours will be from 21:00 to 23:00.
