The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, announced in the Laws Committee that abuses of IPARD funds are being investigated and that they are cooperating with European prosecutors for this purpose.

Opposition MPs asked SPAK leader Altin Dumani about Aruba, the country where the Democratic Party claims that crime figures met with representatives of the "Rama" government.

Dumani denied that there is any issue with the name "Aruba" and added that he has nothing to share with public opinion in this regard.

He also confirmed that SPAK will investigate any cases of abuse of reconstruction funds, noting that there are currently criminal cases on the matter.

"We are continuing our work to uncover and punish any misuse," Dumani declared.

Dumani said that criminal proceedings have been initiated against the Port of Durres.

He said that a proceeding has also been initiated for the Eco Park in Durrës.

Dumani stated that both cases are under preliminary investigation.
