After Gjoni's call, Kalaja responded with the words "go on, go on" and at this moment Elvis Shkembi pulled out his gun from his belt and shot at the magistrate. This information came from the testimony of Ervis Kurtaj, who was also a party to the incident and was wounded along with his father.

According to Ervis Kurtaj, at that moment he pulled his father Ragip to leave in the direction of the corridor, in order to avoid this situation.
