The Court of Appeal in Tirana has announced a job vacancy for a security officer in this institution, almost a week after the serious incident of the murder of Judge Astrit Kalaja in the courtroom.

After the murder, in addition to the perpetrator, Elvis Shkambi, the security guard at the courthouse door was also arrested for abuse of office.

The preliminary investigation and camera footage revealed that the guard had remained seated while Shkambi had passed by with the pistol hidden in his waistband, while the electronic scanner had signaled the presence of the weapon.

The Court of Appeal in Tirana has listed 20 points that a security officer must meet to be hired.
