Socialist Party MP Erion Braçe has denounced the police's behavior towards the miners' protest in Spaç , describing the action as a flagrant violation of the Constitution and labor rights.
He specifically refers to Articles 50 and 51 of the Constitution, which guarantee the right of workers to organize in unions and to go on strike in defense of their interests.
"The behavior of the State Police, and of some of its officers, is unacceptable! It is a gross violation, with hands, feet and a depraved mouth, of the Constitution of the Republic of Albania," Braçe wrote in a post on social media.
