Prime Minister Edi Rama, together with Interior Minister Ervin Demo and leaders of the State Police, held a press conference, where he spoke about the protest in Tirana, the violent clashes and recent developments in the capital.
During his speech, Rama accused the organizers and people who participated in acts of violence, claiming that foreign influences were behind them.
"These protests have been warned to take place in every country in the world, but no political party has come out to support the perpetrators and deify the hordes of a black-hooded mob, behind whom there are no students who want a good Albania, but rather uneducated people who know neither where they come from nor where they are going."
These people worship Molotov cocktails and slingshots that hit police officers and then rush to the stores that support families. This mass needs a psychologist, a human mass of girls and boys who come from the suburbs.
These are used by Antifa, by foreign services and by the enemies of Albania. Russia is not a partner of Albania, it does not want Albania in the EU. It is no coincidence that Vladimir Vladimirovich's father greets the Orthodox. We know that the first day when the Flamingos appeared, Russia had a hand in this, and so did Iran. These are no coincidences.
"Albania has become part of a well-commanded attack by a blind force, by an organization that has been declared terrorist by Donald Trump," Rama said.
