A 17-year-old man was arrested by the Tirana police after he was accused of robbing two people with a toy pistol.

Official sources from the police announced that another 17-year-old, an associate of the arrested person, is being sought.

Under the threat of an imitation pistol, they stole a sum of money from two citizens, thanks to the immediate response of the services of the "Shqiponja" Special Force Sector, in cooperation with Police Station No. 1, one of the suspected perpetrators is caught and put in handcuffs. His accomplice is wanted. The amount of money, suspected stolen, imitation pistol, and the bicycle that the perpetrators used to leave the scene are seized.

The services of the Special Force Sector "Shqiponja", in cooperation with Police Station No. 1, after receiving the notification yesterday, in "Skënderbej" square, around 03:20, two unidentified persons, under the threat of a gun, had stolen a sum of money from two citizens and then left, they immediately organized work to catch them.

Thanks to the immediate response of the Police services, one of the suspected perpetrators, a 17-year-old resident of Tirana, was caught on the "Dëshmorët e Kombit" boulevard. Also, work continues on the capture of another 17-year-old, his accomplice. From the verifications carried out, it turned out that the two minors are also suspected authors of stealing a sum of money in a pharmacy on "Asim Zeneli" street.

As material evidence, the amount of money, suspected stolen goods, imitation pistol, and the bicycle that the perpetrators used to leave the scene were seized. Following the actions, he was arrested and the materials passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, for further procedural actions.
