The prostitution network in Tirana is hit/ Two Chinese pimps recruited girls

The coded police operation "Red light 2", by the Section for the Investigation of Illegal Traffic in DVP Tirana, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, is finalized.

Recruited foreign citizens and then used them for prostitution, a Chinese citizen was arrested.

Her accomplice is wanted and 7 other citizens are prosecuted for prostitution.

4500 euros profited from this criminal activity, 1 laptop, 3 mobile devices, 2 passports, and 3 notebooks with notes are seized.

Specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Illegal Traffic, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, following the work to combat illegalities in the field of illegal traffic, have organized and finalized the coded police operation " Red light 2".

Within this operation:

- the Chinese citizen YY, 52 years old, resident in Tirana, was arrested for the criminal offenses of "Using prostitution", "Maintaining premises for prostitution", and "Other intentional damage", provided for by articles 114, 115, 90 of the Criminal Code .

- the Chinese citizen ND, 38 years old, resident in Tirana, was declared wanted for the criminal offenses of "Exploitation of prostitution", "Owning premises for prostitution", "Extortion through threats or violence to give property", and "Damage to others on purpose", provided by articles 114, 115, 109-b, 90 of the Criminal Code;

- 7 foreign citizens were prosecuted for prostitution.

From the investigative actions carried out, it has emerged that the two suspected perpetrators, through social networks, recruited Chinese and Filipino citizens, who accommodated them in a rented environment adapted for exploitation of prostitution and then using the website "Escort Tirana" used them for prostitution. At the moment when the recruited girls wanted to withdraw from this criminal activity, the two suspected perpetrators, through the photos published on the page "Escort Tirana", exerted violence against them and pressured the families of the recruited girls.

During the investigative actions, it was found that the ND citizen, by means of coercion through threats, by pressuring her through photographs, took the amount of 15,000 euros from one of the exploited girls, after the latter asked to give up from this criminal activity.

As material evidence, 4,500 euros profited from this criminal activity, 1 laptop, 3 mobile devices, 2 passports, and 3 notebooks with notes were seized.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office.
