The Tirana court ordered the security measure "arrest in prison", with the aim of extraditing to Poland a 28-year-old man arrested a few days ago in the capital.
Dominik Orlowski was wanted by Polish justice for attempted murder.
Before judge Gerd Hoxha, the 28-year-old asked not to be extradited, as his life was in danger in his country.
Orlowski has been wanted by the Polish authorities since March, when a measure of "prison arrest" was imposed on him.
He is accused that, in collaboration with several other people, on March 10, he shot several times with a firearm, in the direction of the vehicle in which two citizens were moving, in order to kill them. One of them was seriously injured.
Also, the young man was sentenced by the Court in Poland to 7 years in prison for drug trafficking, assault and destruction of property.
