Chronicle reporter Elton Qyno has said that it seems strange to search Ervis Martinaj's house when he has been declared missing or executed.

He said in OraNews that the police operation is motivated by a decision of SPAK, it was suspected that Martinaj did not come to celebrate Christmas at his house.

Qyno:  The police have not found any evidence of his whereabouts near his apartment. I called it a police visit to the village of Fushë Kuqe, because a person since August 8 is sometimes considered missing and sometimes executed, checking him at his house or at businesses seems unbelievable to me. The police operation is motivated by a SPAK decision and every such operation has a justification from the court since Martinaj has been declared wanted. Maybe the police had operational information that Martinaj had come to celebrate Christmas at his house.

We have an abduction investigation and it is suspected whether he is alive or not. Meanwhile, SPAK is wanted alive for an execution in the form of a structured criminal group. So the state is investigating on two tracks and one claims to have evidence that this individual was killed, while the other is looking for him alive. There is talk in police channels that we may have an executed case. I do not want to believe an execution, because after all we are dealing with a man and I continue to stick to the plan that he was not killed, but disappeared without a trace. Meanwhile, there are also reports that he was thrown into the sea. If we had an execution, I do not believe that these opponents would not advertise his body, to announce their triumph.
