When 8 months have passed since this assassination, the local authorities have not only not found the killers, but it seems that they do not even intend to deal with what happened.

For them, the Albanians come from a completely unknown exotic country and consider them responsible for their fate, as they are involved at high levels in the international cocaine traffic.

While Ecuadorian criminal organizations carry out assassinations so often that they have turned Guayaquil into one of the most dangerous cities in the world.

According to Hoxha, the head of the cartel with whom Ergys Dashi worked, was killed just a short time before the execution of the Albanian. Hoxha said that Dashi had close ties with the head of the cartel and was even the godfather of his child.

But after the murder of the accomplice, Ergys Dashi chose not to leave Ecuador. According to Hoxha, this was taken as an open challenge by the opponents and he was physically eliminated.

"The execution of Ergys Dashi happened after he got involved with the cartels there. One of the executives he worked for, who was the godfather of his child, was executed earlier. Ergys Dashi had not left Ecuador. The relationship and acquaintance he had with the person who was killed was known. It was taken as a challenge and staying there. The opponents organized his murder ", said Artan Hoxha.

Another detail discovered by Hoxha was the fact that everything in Ecuador is organized by Albanian bosses located in Dubai.

"The elimination of conflicts between Albanians depends on the balances that are established in Dubai, on the untouchables who are there. In Ecuador I saw the size of the economy that these groups have. They have a much bigger budget than the Ministry of the Interior. You have no chance with them. You cannot win the war with them", said Hoxha.
