The Director General of the State Police, Skënder Hita, has begun making some changes in the police.

Hita has dismissed the director of Operations, Melsi Koçi.

The leadership of Operations, a very important sector in the police, is expected to be taken over by Alban Dautaj, who currently heads Anti-Terror.

Hita has also signed several orders for changes to deputy district directors and police station chiefs, which are expected to be announced tomorrow and in the coming days.
