The lion Erion and the bear Flora made the rounds on the internet in December last year after they were rescued thanks to the international organization "FourPaws" from the "prison" in which they were being held in northern Albania.

Erion has now started a new life in Germany, after he and Flora were transported on a journey that lasted four days, covering 2,000 kilometers, crossing the borders of 7 countries, under the accompaniment of veterinarians and specialized aquarists.

Through a post on the social network "Instagram", the organization has updated the condition of the lion Erion, through several shared photos.

Erion is no longer the weak, maneless lion, but on the contrary, he is slowly growing up.

Today, he is a completely different lion, having gained weight and healthy muscles, and his mane is also growing little by little by day.

"He is confident, curious and finally experiencing what life must feel like for a lion," the organization wrote.

We recall that the lion Erion, 3 years old, and the bear Flora, 2 years old, were rescued by the international animal protection organization Four Paws, which located the lion through videos published on TikTok by someone claiming to be his owner.

Their origins remain unclear, the lion Erion is suspected of being a victim of illegal trafficking, while the bear Flora is thought to have been hunted in the wild.
