The property conflict in the Shkodra district has escalated into severe physical violence between the parties.

A public reaction was made by the former director of the Cadastre, Fatmir Shpellzaj , who says that his son was barbarically raped by the residents of Rrjoll.

Shpellzaj is accused by the latter as the official who forged their documents and stole their property to then give it to the builder and publisher Bashkim Ulaj to build a luxury resort on their land.

According to him, the serious incident occurred yesterday evening outside the premises of a television station where he was invited. Shpellzaj says that the boy had come with a friend to accompany him, where he was physically attacked.

The former director of the Cadastre says that his son and his friend spent the night in the hospital due to severe fractures they had sustained as a result of the blows.

"Like a gang enraged by the fact that the documents and the law are against them, they dragged him away and raped him in the most severe way, until we ended up in the hospital, where we stayed until morning, so much so that after Mother Teresa Hospital we had to go to Trauma for more specialized treatment," Fatmir Shpellza's reaction says, among other things.

However, Prekë Molla, a representative of the residents of Rrjoll, has denied this version.

Molla says that Fatmir Shpellzaj's son initially provoked him by hitting him with his shoulder and then, accompanied by 10-15 people, attacked the residents. According to Molla, they were also armed and equipped with baseball bats.

This situation, says Molla, provoked the other residents present, who responded.

As a result, he says, some of the three were injured, while he also claims threats from Fatmir Shpellzaj's son.

Prekë Molla has also published a photo of his vehicle with a broken windshield, claiming that it was the action of Fatmir Shpellza's son and other people who accompanied him.

Molla said that they approached him with the intention of taking the documents, thinking that Shpellza's son was alone.

Meanwhile, the incident that occurred yesterday evening is being investigated by the police, while the parties have been escorted to the police station and are currently being investigated at large.

In Rrjoll, clashes between residents, Bashkim Ulajt, and the police have been ongoing for over a month. Residents claim that Shpellzaj stole their property by forging documents and gave it to Ulajt to build a resort.

Fatmir Shpellza's full reaction:

I just left the Trauma Hospital, where for hours I stood next to my son, who was brutally massacred by a group of people who, instead of documents, only have violence in their hands.

Those who violated my family's graves also violated my son yesterday, and this is no longer a property issue.

The event happened yesterday after I chose to go to defend my truth on the show Opinion in front of several people who have long been creating a false story about Rrjollin, manipulating people's sensitivities and presenting themselves as owners or heirs of a land for which they have no documents.

I always knew who I was dealing with and was prepared for the worst, but they are crossing every legal, moral, and human boundary.

At the Klan television premises, where I was to defend my truth, they barbarically attacked my son, who had only come to accompany me.

They also physically attacked his friend, causing serious fractures to both of them.

Like a gang enraged by the fact that the documents and the law were against them, they dragged her away and raped her in the most severe way, until we ended up in the hospital, where we stayed until morning, so much so that after Mother Teresa Hospital we had to go to Trauma for more specialized treatment.

These people have also threatened my lawyer, the esteemed defense attorney, who yesterday received the most serious threatening phone calls.

I urgently call on the State Police and the Prosecutor's Office to react immediately and bring justice to this barbaric act, because no one can take the law into their own hands.

I apologize to the citizens for this difficult situation that is being created around this issue.

I also apologize to the Gener 2 company, which approached this area with a vision of development and which today is being forced to face primitive acts that have nothing to do with citizenship.

Dear Albanians, I have only one weapon: Documents and the truth.
