The suspected perpetrator of the robbery that occurred the day before at a currency exchange point, 42-year-old Luan Maçi , has given his testimony to investigators at Police Station No. 4.

Maci  claimed that he was forced to commit the robbery due to his mother's serious health condition.

From the investigative actions it results that Maçi entered the " Exchange " point of 'Western Union ' in the Concord shopping center , on " 5 Maji " street, in the early hours of the morning .

After threatening the employee with a firearm, he managed to obtain an amount of money suspected to be around 1.2 million lek .

The 42-year-old is not unknown to law enforcement agencies, as he has previous criminal records for various offenses.

During the robbery, the 42-year-old was wearing black clothes and had a beard, and after returning to the apartment, he is suspected of shaving it off in an attempt to change his appearance and escape identification by the police.
