The State Police reacted to the situation created at the border point of Kapshtica, where long queues of vehicles were created and arrived in the evening from the customs to the village of Kapshtica.
The statement states that the head of the Kapshtica Border Police Station immediately met with his counterparts at the Greek customs who, after the meeting, added counters and applied the accelerated procedure.
As it was announced earlier, the police confirm that because the customs on the Greek side worked with two counters, queues were created at the exit of the Republic of Albania.
But thanks to the measures taken, the movement has been uniform from both sides of the border, eliminating the created queues.
Currently, there is no queue at this crossing point and traffic appears normal.
