34-year-old Taulant Konica died in the trauma hospital, who was injured as a result of the explosion of the gas cylinder on Saturday afternoon in his apartment in the village of Vashtemi i Maliqi.

He had multiple body burns and could not survive his injuries, closing his eyes forever this morning in the hospital.

Along with him, his father, Refat Konica, 59 years old, as well as their relative AM citizen, 40 years old, were injured.

When the incident happened on Saturday afternoon, they were first sent to the hospital in Korça, but the doctors decided to urgently send them to the trauma hospital in Tirana, as they had suffered severe body burns.

The gas cylinder allegedly burst due to carelessness in Refat Koncia's apartment.
