The Tirana police have revealed the murder of businessman Edmond Papa, who was executed on the afternoon of December 16 at the entrance of a bar in the Selita area.

The Blues of the capital inform that they have arrested the citizen Albano Velo , 30 years old, born in Këlcyrë Permet and resident in Tirana, suspected of the criminal offense "Premeditated murder".

The other co-author, AB citizen, 44 years old, resident in Tirana, is also wanted.

"The investigation showed that the perpetrators followed the citizen Edmond Papa for several days, before and on the day of the event until the crime was committed.

As material evidence, the "Audi" type vehicle used by the suspected perpetrators before and after the incident, film footage and 3 mobile devices were found and seized," the Police statement said .

Nga strukturat e Sektorit të Hetimeve të Krimeve të Renda ndaj Jetës e Pronës në DVP Tiranë nën drejtimin e Prokurorisë së Rrethit Gjyqësor Tiranë, më datë 01.01.2023, në orët e para të mëngjesit, u finalizua operacioni policor i koduar “EAGLE EYES”, si rezultat i të cilit u bë i mundur dokumentimi i plotë ligjor i ngjarjes së datës 16.12.2022, ku në rrugën “Fadil Bodinaku“ Tiranë, është vrarë me armë zjarri shtetasi Edmond Papa, i datëlindjes 1973, lindur në fshatin Kurjan Fier dhe banues në Sarandë.

Policia e Tiranës pas një pune profesionale e të pandërprerë trejavore, duke shfrytëzuar të dhënat e inteligjencës policore, përdorimit të metodave speciale të hetimit, administrimit dhe vlerësimit në kohë të provave ligjore, ka bërë të mundur dokumetimin ligjor të autorësisë së kësaj ngjarje kriminale.

Në kuadër të operacionit policor të koduar “EAGLE EYES” u bë ndalimi i shtetasit:

A. V. 30 vjeç, lindur në Këlcyrë Permet dhe banues në Tiranë, i dyshuar për veprën penale “Vrasja me paramendim” .

Si dhe shpallja në kërkim e bashkëautorit, shtetasi A. B., 44 vjeç, banues në Tiranë.

Nga hetimi rezultoi se autorët e kanë ndjekur për disa ditë shtetasin Edmond Papa, para dhe ditën e ngjarjes deri në realizimin e krimit.

Në cilesinë e provave materiale është gjetur dhe sekuestruar automjeti tip "Audi" i përdorur nga autorët e dyshuar para dhe pas ngjarjes, pamje filmike dhe 3 aparate celular.

Nga strukturat hetimore për Krimet e Rënda në DVP Tiranë, nën drejtimin e Prokurorisë së Rrethit Gjyqësor Tiranë, vijon puna për dokumentimin e plotë ligjor të kësaj ngjarjeje.

The procedural materials have been handed over to the Prosecutor's Office of the Tirana Judicial District for further action.
