Greece

Jerasimo Korkuti, 31, from the village of Gjashtë in Saranda, and Andi Beqiri, 27, from Konispoli, are the two young men arrested two days ago by the Greek police after injuring a Pakistani man and following an episodic pursuit in Athens where their "BMW" collided with several other vehicles.

A 30-year-old Greek man was also arrested with them, a person with a serious criminal record in Greece, who is suspected of being the main perpetrator of the injury of the Pakistani man in his shop, as he entered disguised as one of the Albanians.

A fourth person, suspected of being Albanian, is reported to have managed to escape and is being sought by the police.

The 27-year-old from Konispoli, Andi Beqiri, is not an unknown name to the Greek police. In September 2022, he was caught in the Haidari area of Athens in a vehicle where 2 Kalashnikovs with two magazines of 90 rounds were found.

Two tickets belonging to the border city with Albania, Igoumenitsa, were also found in the car.

Also arrested was 41-year-old Viktor Cala . The latter turned out to be a wanted person in Greece, suspected of being the perpetrator of the murder of a Roma man and the attempted murder of an Albanian man.

Regarding the murder, the police discovered that it was ordered by 49-year-old Klod Cara alias Klodian Lekocaj from Berat , a person imprisoned for years in Greece and accused of ordering dozens of serious crimes, including several murders.

Regarding the injury of the Pakistani two days ago in Patisia, the police suspect that it was committed to settle scores.

Its author is a 30-year-old Greek man, who was previously involved in a stabbing of a businessman and a murder in the context of a clash between Greek fan hooligans.

He entered the Pakistani's shop together with one of the Albanians, their faces covered with surgical masks. After the incident, a BMW 5 Series was waiting for them, in which they drove away but collided with several other vehicles until they were stopped by the police.
