The National Inspectorate of Territorial Protection has fined the company "Gjikuria" 10 million lek.
During the inspection in Dhërmi, a landfill of inert waste and excavated soil was found at the top of the village. It turned out that the company had committed a violation because it was not equipped with a type B Environmental Permit, appendix 5.2.
The company's activity has been suspended until it is provided with the relevant permit, and it is obliged to rehabilitate the area where the inert materials were deposited, within a reasonable time frame.
