The Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime has set June 5 as the date to hold the first session on the CEZ-DIA case, where former President Ilir Meta and his ex-wife Monika Kryemadhi are being tried.

The decision was made by the new trio of judges who were selected by lot a few days ago, Erjon Bani (rapporteur), Rudina Palloj and Marinela Osmani.

The first session will start at 11:00.

Meta and Kryemadhi are accused by SPAK of being involved in corruption, money laundering, and concealment of assets.
