Erion Veliaj remained in prison, but today's decision has nothing to do

The Supreme Court decided today to reject the appeal of Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj to change the security measure.

Veliaj's appeal was filed on May 6 and is unrelated to the decision issued three days earlier by the Constitutional Court, which returned Veliaj's request to the High Court for reconsideration.

The Supreme Court will hold a special meeting to review the Constitutional Court's decision.
