Silvester Dheug , 34 years old and residing in England , is the tourist who passed away this Sunday in the Kavajës Rock area, while his partner/companion on the watercraft, Vera Ruani, 31 years old, is in serious condition in hospital.

These two citizens had come to Albania for vacation and today were playing with a jet ski in the Kavajës Rock beach area, when Silvester Dheug lost control and fell into the water with his partner.

The incident occurred just before noon, around 11:15 a.m., when the Border Police services at the Port of Durres were notified that two citizens who were sailing on a Jet Ski, allegedly lost control of the vessel during maneuvers and fell into the water.

The officers immediately went by boat to help the two citizens who had fallen into the water, transporting them to the port, with the aim of sending them to the hospital.

Preliminary checks by the hospital emergency team, which was waiting at the port, revealed that one of the citizens had lost his life.

This is Silvester Dheug, 34 years old, residing in England, while citizen Vera Ruani, 31 years old, residing in England, was immediately transported to the hospital in serious condition.

A special investigative group under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office continues to work to clarify the circumstances and legally document the tragic case, which can be said to be the first event to tarnish the summer season in Albania, which has not yet started well.
