The GJKKO has reacted to the request of Elsa Ulliri, the presiding judge, to withdraw from the trial of the Partizani case, with defendants Sali Berisha, Jamarbër Malltezi and three others.
The announcement states that there will be an announcement on this matter on July 21, when the next hearing is scheduled.
But despite the judge's request, she will be present at the hearings, the trio of judges in the Partizani case remains the same, but they cannot make decisions.
"Given your high interest in being informed whether Judge Elsa Ulliri has filed a request for resignation from the criminal case against the defendants Sali Berisha, Jamarbër Malltezi, etc., by order of the Deputy President of the Court, Mr. Erjon Bani, we inform you that you will be informed regarding this matter at the next court session, on 21.07.2025, at 10:30, where the trial panel will report at the session whether any such request has been filed, as well as the decision of the head of the court, if any," the GJKKO announces.
