After the elimination by RENEA of the 62-year-old man who abused his wife and son and then opened fire on police officers, Interior Minister Taulant Balla reacted.
According to him, the State Police implemented the Law, while appealing that the eradication of violence against women and domestic violence is a major task.
"Thanks to the RENEA forces and those of the Korçë Local Police Directorate for carrying out their duty throughout last night until this morning in Maliq, even in conditions of threat to life, because the citizen who was asked to be detained, resisted the calls of the State Police. with the use of a weapon against the police. In these circumstances, the legal provisions are clear and the State Police implemented the Law. I want to assure the public that eradicating violence against women and domestic violence is a major task.
