23-year-old Albanian Edi Berisha is the victim of a road accident that happened on Thursday afternoon at around 1:30 p.m. in Nuvolere, next to the state road 45bis in Italy. 

According to local media, Berisha was driving a Renault Clio, in which his one-year-old daughter was also present. According to what has been reconstructed so far, it seems that the car crossed into the opposite lane while traveling towards Salos, at that moment a heavy vehicle was coming and the collision was inevitable.

Berisha died immediately while the little girl was rescued and hospitalized where she arrived by rescue helicopter. The 52-year-old truck driver, who was taken to the hospital after the collision, was not seriously injured.

As always happens in these cases, a road homicide investigation will be opened. The vehicles involved have been seized, while Berisha's body has been sent to the morgue where an autopsy will be performed.

The boy was originally from Albania, but had been living in a house in Gavardo for some time. Less than a month ago he had turned 23, celebrating as always with Martina, his beloved partner who works in a shop in town. In Val Sabbia he was known for playing football in several amateur teams and for doing bodyguard jobs in the past.
