Prime Minister Edi Rama, at the table of the National Council for the Rights and Protection of Children, said that he has received messages from parents asking for help for their children.
"I never thought I would live in an Albania where the fear of speaking out would be fueled by the intimidation of those who protest to make Albania better. I protest to make Albania better, and if you don't agree with me, I will intimidate you, threaten you and put you in front of a choice, which is a dramatic choice. Either be with me, not come to class, or be the target of my violence. I have 10 messages from students asking me to be anonymous because they are afraid. I have 10 messages from the parents of these students who are asking for help because they feel helpless," said Rama.
"Their children are threatened with language that is criminal. We expect help from all of you who are engaged in a silent but very useful front for the quality of life and the need for support for children and families who should not be left alone in the face of these very diabolical flows," the prime minister added.
