The police authorities in Spain have discovered a cannabis plantation and as part of this operation have arrested three Albanian and Serbian persons.

The operation codenamed "Tabacu Tormo" took place in an area of ​​difficult terrain between the two towns of Cardenete and Enguidanos.

Spanish media reports that the authorities discovered the plantation where 2300 cannabis roots were planted, while near a building, several bags of seeds of the narcotic plant were also discovered.

It was a hunter who discovered the illegal activity of the 3 arrested in August of this year. While moving in the area, the hunter spotted two of the young men, who raised suspicions that they could be carrying out illegal activity. He immediately notified the authorities who immediately started surveillance of the area and the three persons.

The officers of the Civil Guard and the Police also discovered several artificial ponds which were connected to a river, taking the water to the cannabis plantation, thus enabling irrigation. Also in a wooded area, an improvised camp was found where the 3 young men were staying and observing the cannabis plantation.

The Spanish media also report that the estimated value of the seized marijuana reached up to 40 million euros.
