Today, the Special Court Against Corruption and Organized Crime is holding a hearing against Leonard Duka, accused of the murder of Santiago Malko. It is learned that Duke's lawyer raised doubts about the way Blendi Teta's testimony was handled and also asked for clarification on the SKY ECC codes.

Lawyer: Blendi Teta gave statements before the court and gave important new details about this trial. First, during Blendi Teta's questioning, the prosecutor took him to another session telling him not to testify. This is in violation of the law. Who were the policemen who accompanied Blendi Teja to the halls of GJKKO? The prosecutor has asked him not to give statements before the black squads. We demand that the officers be called and declare who asked Blendi Teja to accompany him to another hall? We ask the court to verify Blendi Teta's statements. Regarding the new evidence presented by the prosecution, it came in the form of an email from the French authorities, not as a document. For the SKY ECC codes, we want to know if the Sky ecc code that is claimed to have been used by Leonard Duka, was only used by one person or several? We ask that Erlis Duka, Leonard Duka, Ervis Martinaj, etc., be asked if they are users of sky ecc or in case they stand by the evidence brought by the accusing body. We ask that Muhamed Duka, Leonard Duka's father, be called to give statements regarding the alleged event.

Prosecutor: I see the requests as unfounded and unsupported as far as this judgment is concerned. Regarding the lawyer's claim about my contact with Blendi Teta, it is true that I contacted her. There is no legal hurdle here. The other, the way of identifying the sky etc application, is that of judicial policemen there is no other way. For the call of people to give evidence, the fate of Ervis Martinaj, his whereabouts moreover (missing without a trace since August 8, 2022) is not yet known. Leonard Duka, one of the most wanted people by the Albanian Police, was arrested on February 14, 2023 in Belgium, while he was extradited to our country last year. Duka is currently on trial for the murder of former policeman Santiago Malko, one of Ervis Martinaj's most trusted men.

For the murder of Malko, the prosecution charged 8 people, where the two Duka brothers, Leonard and Erlis, are at the head of the group.
