Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha

The hearing for the measure against former Prime Minister Sali Berisha will be held the next day in the Special Court.

The hearing is scheduled to be held at 2:00 p.m. the next day, as he has been given a "compulsion to appear" measure and a ban on traveling abroad, because he is accused of being involved in the privatization of the former Partizani sports complex in Tirana, in collaboration with his son-in-law, Jamarbër Malltezi.

Regarding the latter as well as the businessman Fatmir Bektashi, the session for the measures is continuing at GJKKO.

Berisha is expected to be interrogated tomorrow regarding the "Partizani" file, however, it remains unclear whether he will go alone or accompanied as he has twice refused to acknowledge the measure against him, claiming that immunity protects him as a member of the Assembly.
