Thousands of people gathered again today in protest for the 17th day against the Rama government.

Several citizens spoke on the improvised podium, one of them being the daughter of artist Robert Aliaj Dragot, singer Gala Dragot.

She said she believes her generation will make a difference in this country. She also told protesters not to allow politics to contaminate their movement, as happened with the student protest.

Gala Dragot: I am so excited about your protest. It makes me believe that my generation can make a difference. I am so happy that you are so aware of the strength you have and the future you want. I cried at the student protest with my father when I was 13. It filled me with hope, but it was thwarted by the intervention of failed politicians.

I am here to remind you that you must have endless courage. Endless courage to make changes, to overthrow this rotten political class. Do not let political elements contaminate your movement. The future is ours. Remember, freedom is not given. Freedom is negotiated and you must fight for it. I am happy to say that my generation will save this country. Let us end totalitarianism, long live Albania.
