SPAK also seizes the famous 5-star hotel in Jalë

What you see in the photo is the Zig Zag hotel in Jalë, which was seized today by SPAK after striking a criminal group who had invested in real estate, construction, etc. through dirty money.

Zig Zag is one of the 5-star hotels, which has an accommodation structure with 200 rooms and is built on the hillside in the Jala area, reports Zëri.

Luxury hotels and villas on the Albanian coastline, in cities such as Tirana, Durrës, Elbasan, Lezhë, Shkodër, Dhërmie, Saranda, but not only, are among the assets seized from the criminal group hit by SPAK.

It concerns 491 assets worth 150 million euros.

According to the Special Prosecution Office, the group was allegedly led by Dritan Gjika and Eldi Dizdari, while Isa Aliu was at the head of the money laundering scheme.

A prison sentence has also been issued for Nikoll Bibaj, Sokol Bibaj, Armando Pacani, Naldi Yzeiraj, Oklid Aliu and Shpëtim Aliu.
