Former Metallurgical Plant in Elbasan

A large-scale fire has engulfed a business in the premises of the former Metallurgical Plant in Elbasan, causing an alarming situation and significant pollution throughout the area.

The powerful flames have spread rapidly, while thick plumes of smoke rise from the scene, visible even from great distances.

It is learned that the fire has engulfed the warehouse of the " Optimal " factory. The flames have erupted in the warehouse premises of the company, which deals with the production of wet tissues and various hygiene products.

The factory is managed by Turkish investors, while several Fire Service vehicles have arrived at the scene, as well as State Police officers, who have surrounded the area and are coordinating actions to manage the situation.

The intensity of the fire has created a disturbing panorama, with giant flames engulfing the building and severe air pollution.
