Drifting for "Tik Tok" in residential areas, 26-year-old suffers badly

The police have criminally prosecuted a 26-year-old man who appeared on social media performing dangerous maneuvers with his vehicle in the neighborhoods of the city of Cerrik, endangering the lives of citizens.

"Regarding a video published on the "TikTok" portal, which shows a vehicle performing a dangerous maneuver (drift), in Cërrik, we clarify that the services of the Cërrik Police Commissariat have carried out actions to identify the driver of the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle, citizen ST, 26 years old, resident of Cërrik, was escorted to the Police Station, along with the vehicle. Following the actions, the Crime Investigation specialists of the Cërrik Police Commissariat referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office where proceedings were initiated at large for citizen ST, for the criminal offense of "Disturbance of public peace", the police announce.

The 26-year-old was also fined 40,000 lek, based on points 3 and 8 of Article 139 of the Road Code.
