The State Police has given official information about the arrest in Turkey of Ibrahim Lici, who is wanted for the murder of Endri Mustafa.

Lici's arrest was made thanks to the cooperation and exchange of information between the two countries.

Police Notification

As a result of the police intelligence provided by the Shkodra Local Police Directorate and other specialized structures of the State Police, as well as the real-time exchange of information with the Turkish police authorities, the coded police operation "Jehona" is finalized.

The operation, by the Turkish Police, in cooperation with the Shkodra Local Police Directorate, in coordination with the Criminal Police Department and the Department for International Relations, under the direction of SPAK.

A 51-year-old man wanted for murder is captured in Turkey and is being held for extradition.

The local structures of the Shkodër Police, as a result of the continuous work to locate and capture the wanted citizens, have provided information that the much-wanted IL citizen was hiding in Turkey. Furthermore, the specialized structures of the Criminal Police Department and the Department for International Relations (Interpol Tirana) immediately shared this information and cooperated closely with the police authorities of Turkey, for the capture of this citizen.

As a result of real-time information exchange, follow-up and coordination of actions, the Turkish Police has finalized the coded police operation "Echo", during which the much-wanted citizen IL, 51 years old, was captured and handcuffed.

The Court of the Shkodër Judicial District, in 2021, assigned this citizen the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Premeditated murder" and "Unauthorized possession and production of explosive weapons and ammunition", after 15.05.2021, he allegedly killed the EM citizen with a pistol

Interpol Tirana, in cooperation with law enforcement agencies, continues the work for the extradition of the most wanted, to Albania.
