Ardi Veliu resigns from the Police Supervision Agency

Ardi Veliu has resigned from the leadership of the Police Supervision Agency.

The news was announced by Vox News three days ago, while today Veliu confirmed it to the media. 

This Monday morning, Veliu held a meeting with his subordinates, where he communicated to them that this will be the last working meeting with him, as he has resigned.

Ardi Veliu was appointed head of the AMP in September 2022, after being relieved of his duties as Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Energy.

Earlier, Veliu was also the General Director of the State Police.
