Aleksandr Çipa will very soon take over the leadership of a national media such as News 24 television.

The journalist has been appointed to the post of General Director and is soon expected to start work to take "News 24" to another level . He has a long experience in television and journalism, and is even the founder of the Union of Journalists in Albania.

Aleksandër Çipa first started working as an editor in the local newspaper "Pararoja" until 1990. In 1991, he initiated the opening of the first private and independent newspaper "Java" in the south of Albania, which continued publication until the beginning of 1998. Meanwhile, he was the first correspondent of the districts in the daily newspaper "Koha Jonë" from 1993 to 1998. Meanwhile, during the years 1994 to the beginning of 1999, he was the correspondent of the British Radio BBC for its Albanian section. In 1999, he moved to Tirana, where he started working as the head of the district editorial office at TV Klan.

In mid-1999, he became the Information Director at Koha Tirana TV until December 2000. During 2001, he moved to Pristina as the editor-in-chief of the daily "Kosova Sot", where he once collaborated with the newspaper "Koha jone", Illirya" in New York and "Fakti". in Skopje.

In 2002, he returned again as Director of TV Koha and in 2003 he was appointed founding editor-in-chief of the daily newspaper "Sot" and then editor-in-chief of "Koha jone" in Tirana. In 2004, he was appointed editor-in-chief of "Arberia" National Television.

In 2005, moderator of the TV show "Miks" on TV "News 24" - Tirana. During this year, the creation of the largest trade union organization of journalists in Albania begins and the president of the Union of Albanian Journalists is elected.

In 2006, he returned as the Information Director of TV Arberia, and after a year he became the editor-in-chief of the daily newspaper "Albania".

In 2007, he gave lectures on the practice of the written press at the private UFO University, currently the Albanian University, in Tirana.

From 2009 to July 2012, editor-in-chief of the daily newspaper "Shqip". He is known as an analyst and opinion columnist in the Albanian space and maintains regular periodic collaborations with the BBC, "Shqip" newspaper, "Klan" magazine, etc.

He has carried out many studies and reports on issues of media reality in Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, etc. He has published several books on literature and cultural thoughts. He holds a doctorate at the Center for Albanological Studies in Tirana.

The former director general of News 24, Robert Rakipllari, who previously held this position may hold a new position within Top Channel.
