The driver of the boat that hit the 5-year-old child to death on the beach of Potami, has been identified as Arjan Tase, the former head of the police station of Himara, while he currently holds the position of head of community policing in the Elbasan Local Police Directorate.

The incident happened this morning, while according to the testimony of the citizens, the vehicle was at high speed and was seen performing dangerous maneuvers.

The child was on the seashore, in a safe area, in front of his parents. The blow was too strong, killing him on the spot. Therefore, the police arrested the driver of the vehicle, who reportedly stated that there was a defect in the vehicle.
