Police statement

Today, around 2:00 p.m., on the beach of Potami, the AT citizen, driving a boat-type boat, allegedly lost control over the boat and as a result the boat hit a child of about 5 years old, who due to injuries, he died at the scene.

The driver of the boat was escorted to the Himar Police Station and the procedures for his arrest are being carried out. The investigative team is at the scene and is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
