The police of Berat have identified and arrested the driver of yesterday's accident, where the citizen I. Ç., 72 years old, who was riding a bicycle, crashed to death.

Citizen  Bashkim Doksani , 50 years old, resident of the village of Gajdë, Poshnje, was put in handcuffs. He hit the old man to death yesterday and left the scene. The 50-year-old is accused of the criminal offenses "Violation of traffic rules" and "Leaving the scene of the accident".

The accident happened yesterday on the "Berat-Ura e Kuçit" road axis, near the village of Polizhan. The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Berat Judicial District Court, for further action.
