Some teachers of private institutions have been forbidden by the management to exchange congratulatory messages for Christmas and New Year.

The case was denounced through a post on social networks by criminology professor Ervin Karamuço. He considers this case as violent verbal and psychological extremism.

Karamuço writes further that even the students were forbidden to celebrate the end of the year holidays and every photo with a fir tree was censored.

"In these days of year-end greetings, some teachers of private institutions are facing violent verbal and psychological extremism from their leaders. It is also alarming for security issues, that an educational institution forbids the exchange of greetings for Christmas and the new year, forbidding end-of-year holidays for students and censoring any photo with the festive fir", writes Ervin Karamuço .
