Did Rama withdraw from the energy price increase? ERE: Takes effect if
The energy regulator

The Energy Regulatory Body has reacted after Prime Minister Edi Rama announced today the withdrawal from the decision to increase the price for the bandage above 800 kilowatts per month.

Through a social media post, ERE says the price revision will be periodic and will depend on the Universal Service Provider.

According to ERE, FSHU must notify about the changed costs of the energy purchase price, after which they will also be reflected by ERE.

For the month of October, ERE explains, if the Universal Service Supplier will provide energy from KESH at the price of 2.6 ALL/kWh, the price of energy for the family consumer will remain unchanged, i.e. at the value of 9.5 ALL/kWh/

Post of the Energy Regulatory Body:

The prices set by ERE remain applicable for the period October 1 to December 31, 2022. In the energy emergency situation we are in, the revision of prices will be periodic, that is, if the Universal Service Supplier will notify about changed costs of the price of energy purchase, then they will be reflected by the ERE. For example, if for the month of October FSHU sh.a will provide energy from KESH sh.a at the price of 2.6 Lek/kWh, and the price of energy for family consumers will remain at 9.5 Lek/kWh.
